Does anyone know why some Duty-Free cigarettes that I bought in Hungary contain black bits in the filter. I opened the filter and there is loads of black bits wrapped in the filter? Was getting a little worried why they have decided to put black glass-shard like bits in the cigarette. I have Googled this and cannot see anyone else who has commented on this. Thanks
This filter contains charcoal, the black bits. Some years ago some American cigarets also used charcoal in their filters, but I think now this has become too expsnsive for them to produce, or at least they have found a cheaper way to make filters. Charcoal filters are very good and I would prefer them.
